Uncertainty
Times are so crazy, we’re second guessing giving hugs to our friends and settling with giving daps with our elbows. Covid-19 has made flights cheap but who wants to wear a mask throughout an entire vacation? There’s a war outside between Anti-Racist and Racist people that no one is safe from. Choose the side to help black lives matter or stay quiet as a mouse to protect your privilege. Unemployment has sky rocketed, schools doesn’t exist and sports are played without fans. I can’t make this shit up. This is life.
We are living our children’s history books and the only question they will ask is “ How did you survive? I went from Point Guard to stay-at-home dad. I accepted the challenge to be more than a daddy for my children. It is uncertain if my babies are going back to school so I adapted to my situation.
Recently, my family and I joined other families to protest about equality and the future for the black race.
“No Justice, No Peace.”
It is uncertain if America will ever give equal rights to African Americans or minorities but one thing is for sure we will no longer be quiet. We have been mistreated, underpaid and slaughtered. It is our turn to make racists uncomfortable.
“How did you survive?” you ask. I play my music really loud while chasing my children in the front yard. I don’t know if my job is returning any time soon but I’m preparing myself everyday just in case it does. Jogging on the treadmill, lifting weights and practicing on my hoop outside is my daily routine to stay in tip-top shape. I read books and write in my journal for peace. My family quarantined with another family and it was so much fun. We all worked in the day and drank at night. Both families agreed we all needed this social gathering.
An extremely rare moment where Nove + Wolf aren’t scrapping.

Today we have a choice to laugh really hard or stress about our current conditions. Fight for what’s right and have uncomfortable conversations. Whether your glass is half empty or half full drink what’s in it because It is uncertain you will be alive to see tomorrow.
Ya’ll know the rules…
