Post Love

I’m starting to see more men post pictures of them happily in love. Which is dope. Not too long ago, that was sinful behavior should I say to post a picture showing you’re in love. Well, at least according to social media. Sin one - you were probably in love but cheating. Sin two - the homies didn’t like that because their girl saw you happy and proud and wanted to know why they weren’t get posted on their man’s page. Sin three - you didn’t want a random girl saying something questionable under your post. LOL

But here we are in 2021 and all I see are happy men grateful to have found love. What changed?!! I don’t want to hear age. Men know when they’ve found the right one, whether they're twenty or forty-two we just choose not to publicly announced it. Now it’s becoming clear we understand it’s very rare to find “ The One.”

But that’s not why I’m writing this. I’m writing this because it’s so many men out there afraid to hit the post button and show who lit their souls on fire. Don’t shy away from this new world of openness and truth. We soldiers of love await you to straighten our infantry. We could be the movement that shows other men love is dope. Love is not to be hidden. Let us be the role models that approve being a one-woman man is the light to a dark and mischievous heart.

Post those fire dinners, day dates at the park, and couple workouts. Kiss cam and make Tik-Tok videos together. Just don’t hide what you call a blessing. Love is difficult as it is. Relationships are challenging. Some work and some don’t. Delight in it while you’re still there. Doing Forever is hard. Hitting post isn’t. Be Grown about yours. Post love.
